Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is psychotherapeutic approach which is used for a range of mental health disorders and other problems. It is widely used for eating disorders, anxiety disorders and mood disorders. It focused on the way that thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations and behaviours interact with each other, creating a vicious cycle that maintains the problem. Through therapy the individual can acquire ways of managing problems more efficiently and differentiate the way he thinks and behaves. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used for children, adolescents and adults.
